Driving Directions

Bridal Veil Trailhead: From the west, take I-84 to Exit #28/Bridal Veil. Flip south onto the Historic Columbia River Freeway and drive 0.75 miles to Bridal Veil Falls State Park on the left/north facet of the street. Coming from the east on I-84, take exit 35 (Ainsworth Park) and drive 8.3 miles west on the Historic Freeway to achieve

Hiking to Bridal Veil Falls

From the High Falls Parking Area:

  1. Start at the High Falls Parking Area and head towards Buck Forest Road, crossing the covered bridge.
  2. Just after the bridge, turn right onto Conservation Road.
  3. Follow Conservation Road for 1.1 miles until you reach the Bridal Veil Falls trail on the right.
  4. Continue along the Bridal Veil Falls trail for 0.5 miles until you reach the falls. Along the way, you’ll pass a horse barn on the left with pumps for fresh drinking water.

Optional Three Lake Trail Detour:

  1. About 0.1 mile from the start of Conservation Road, turn left onto Joanna Road.
  2. Travel along Joanna Road for approximately 0.1 mile until you reach Three Lakes Trail on the right.
  3. Follow Three Lakes Trail for 0.7 miles until it ends back on Conservation Road. Turn left to continue to Bridal Veil Falls.

From the Fawn Lake Access Area:

  1. From the Fawn Lake Access Area, turn right and proceed 0.10 miles.
  2. Take the first left onto Conservation Road and continue for 1.7 miles past the airstrip.
  3. Turn left onto Bridal Veil Falls Road and travel 0.53 miles to reach the base of Bridal Veil Falls.

Additional Tips:

  • Terrain: Cross the stream and ascend the area just to the left of the falls to reach the stream above. Exercise caution as the rocks may be slippery. Health books, guides, exercises, habits, Diets, and more
  • Parking: Parking is limited, so arrive early to secure a spot. Parallel parking along the road near the ranch is necessary.
  • Sun Protection: The trail offers limited shade, so bring sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun during the hike, especially along Cow Creek Trail.
